What makes this office building special?

• the first building in Australia to use its facade as a system for capturing on-site solar energy.

• glass facades which are applied in a pleated application resting on top of a brick base foundation as a means to be more energy efficient and sustainable.

• 1,182 solar panels

Author’s note: If your concern is that most solar projects don’t have a large enough square footage to generate power for a meaningful ROI, these types of installations on the sides of buildings are the answer to that. That’s been something I’ve considered for several years to cover more surface area on buildings. Often the roof square footage is not enough for apartment building investors to lock in a power generation reseller agreement for return on investment. -Marky
